On November 2nd 2020, a panel of nine experts lead by LI Yinghong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, reviewed China Tianying’s Plasma disposal technology for medical waste in Hai’an, Jiangsu Province. The meeting was organized by the People’s Government of Hai’an City.
The panel visited China Tianying’s Plasma medical waste disposal project before listening to a technological report and studying related documents. After inquiries and discussions, the panel unanimously approved that China Tianying’s Plasma medical waste disposal technology passed their review. More specifically, they considered China Tianying’s Plasma medical waste disposal technology had met the leading standards in the world and recommended that it be listed in the Catalogue of Major Environmental Protection Technology and Equipment Encouraged by the State (《國家鼓勵(lì)發(fā)展的重大環(huán)保技術(shù)裝備目錄》), the Catalogue of China’s Advanced Pollution Prevention Technology (《國家先進(jìn)污染防治技術(shù)目錄》) and the Best Available Techniques and Best Environmental Practices (BAT/BEP).
The approval from the panel signals that the application of Plasma technology for medical waste disposal has achieved substantial breakthrough. As suggested by the panel, China Tianying will join related government agencies in compiling disposal standards and technical specifications for the Plasma disposal of medical waste. By helping establish a standard Plasma disposal system for medical waste, China Tianying wishes to accelerate the commercial application of this technology and make greater contributions to the cause of ecological environment protection.
